Longing for OCNJ

It's nearly summer, and I'm longing to get back to the beach. Not much chance this year, but I can dream, can't I? Shot this last year on a trip to OCNJ.

The sun was setting, and the sky was amazing. While we were in line {yup, I went on the big ferris wheel} the fireworks started. Nothing like fireworks at the beach.


I went out early one morning without anyone {gasp - w/o the kids!} and got this one. I think I need a big print to hang in my office. If I suddenly vanish, you'll know where I've gone.

Color inspite of the chilly weather

Ok, it's May. It's supposed to be warm. We're not supposed to have frost warnings this close to Memorial Day. At least the bulbs were spared by the deer and came up, making it look like Spring, even if it doesn't feel like spring.

Things I would do if I were a billionaire:
pay off my debt and some family debt
rent a beach house for the whole summer
Nikon D3 and all the lenses I wanted
support hubby's Maverick restoration addiction

Three of my bad habits:
real popcorn - air popped with real butter and salt
magazines - gotta have 'em
photo equipment purchases
